To honor Westies, living or at the Rainbow Bridge, by donations in their names to help other Westies find a better life while here, on earth.”

Pierre Tsai

FEBRUARY 1, 2013 – SEPTEMBER 17, 2025

Pierre came into our lives as a spunky 9-year-old, who took some time to graduate from WRM because of his special needs as a diabetic pup. It was love at first sight when Pierre jumped into our arms, and we knew he would be our little monkey forever. Within a few days, our 3-year-old Westie Hudson also decided that Pierre would be his best friend, and he would be Pierre’s guide dog and protector. That is, until Pierre had cataract surgery and started running faster than Hudson.

Pierre had the most beautiful eyes and the softest fur. He had the cutest trot and the loudest bark. He could snatch a piece of chicken from the floor faster than one could see, and dash away at lightning speed. He loved everyone, but perhaps none more than Hudson. Hudson and Pierre hiked, camped, went on car trips (Pierre’s favorite!), and snuggled at night, always ready for the next adventure. They spent every minute of every day together.

Pierre took his diabetes, neuropathy, and many infections in stride. He was always a very good boy. He stole the vet staff’s heart, just as he stole ours.

But Pierre developed idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and his little lungs got tired. Time came for us to return our precious gift. On a sunny and breezy day in September, we said our goodbyes, with Hudson and his favorite people by his side. We only had our little unicorn for 3 years, but it was the best 3 years we have known, thanks to Pierre’s foster family and WRM. We miss you so much, Pumpkin Poodle Pierre, and we cannot wait to hold you again.

The following have donated to WRM in Pierre’s honor:

In Loving Memory of Our Sweetest Brody

01/08/2011 – 12/05/2025

Brody came into our lives on March 18, 2014, just after turning three years old. From the very beginning, he filled our home with joy, love, and laughter. He gave us countless happy memories that we will cherish forever in our hearts.

Brody loved playing with other dogs and being outside in the warm sunshine—his favorite place to be. When he wasn’t soaking up the sun, you could find him stretched out on top of the couch, happily munching on his favorite snack, carrots. For 11 wonderful years, he brought endless smiles and so much happiness into our lives. I often told him he was our angel, because he truly was.

He loved sitting by the window, watching and barking at squirrels, and he never missed waiting by the door for his sissy to come home from the bus so he could greet her. Though it took him a little time to warm up to my husband, they became the very best of friends. To my husband, he was—and will always be—his “Brody boy.”

Brody’s unconditional love will live on in our hearts forever. We love you always, our sweet angel 💙 Until we meet again over the Rainbow Bridge

Forever loved by
Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy
