Volunteering

CAN YOU SAY “NO” TO THIS FACE?

HOW CAN YOU HELP WESTIE RESCUE MICHIGAN?

By far the biggest need is FOSTERING. At times we have more dogs needing care than we have foster homes to put them in. When this happens, we risk having an adoptable dog put to sleep for no good reason. If you can help out by fostering, please contact us. Following is a list of things you can do that would help a great deal. If you are able to help, please fill out the application, print it and mail it to Jean at the address on the form.

If you have questions, contact Maggie Piertzak   586-739-2273.

 I WANT TO HELP!

  • Foster care
  • Babysitting (For a few hours or for a week…you decide)
  • Transporting
  • Visiting to expose the dog to new people
  • Fundraising (Use your talents; Can you knit a dog sweater, sew a quilt, organize a fundraiser event, etc.?)

If you can help, we would like to hear from you.

Please read WHAT IS FOSTER CARE if you are interested in fostering.
